Dr Kriya performs facial reconstruction after accidental trauma or cancer excision.
She works with dermatologists and Mohs surgeons post excision to perform skin grafts or local or regional skin and soft tissue flaps for closure of skin after cancer removal. Her goal is to restore the facial anatomy paying close attention to both form and function. After accidental trauma such as lip or nasal tip avulsion, Dr Kriya uses similar techniques to move tissue around to close wounds and to recreate the patient’s natural anatomy with as little scaring and deformation as possible.
